Field Trips and Fun
In Kindergarten we do so much learning... but we also have a lot of fun too!!! These are some of the many activities we do throughout the year.
We take a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch in early October! On this trip each child is able to get a pumpkin from the patch as well as visit the corn maze, animals and parks on site.
In October, we do the Panther Prowl. Students run laps and raise money for each lap they run.
In November we will have a Thanksgiving Feast. Your child will make the food and decorations for this event. It ties in with people from Long ago and Today a unit we study in Social Studies.
In December we will read lots of different versions of the Gingerbread Man. We will make our very own gingerbread man and suprisingly... he runs away!!
